While I do believe Catfishing is wrong, I also know it happens and the person isn’t always a villain. It wasn’t about the Catfishing hook either.
I wasn’t quite as taken with Stacey’s love story. With our state Renfaire closed for Covid, this is the closest I’m going to get and I devoured it. Straight off the bat, the magic of the Renfest was still rampant. Well Met captured that perfect, and had a charming and swoonworthy romance to boot. It transports you back in time, so a place of smoked turkey legs and fun olde tyme banter. There’s magic inside the gates of the Renaissance festival. It took me home, to one of my favorite all day escapes: the Renfest. To Stacey’s shock, it isn’t Dex-she’s been falling in love with a man she barely knows. So when she receives a tender email from the typically monosyllabic hunk, she’s not sure what to make of it.įaire returns to Willow Creek, and Stacey comes face-to-face with the man with whom she’s exchanged hundreds of online messages over the past nine months. While Dex is easy on the eyes onstage with his band The Dueling Kilts, Stacey has never felt an emotional connection with him.
